Honey fungus?

JamieBJamieB Posts: 26
Hi everyone, happy Friday. I'm pretty good at identifying plants but mushrooms/fungi I'm very poor. So the picture below is of a fungi growing at the base of a rose. Is it honey fungus and if so what should I do? Cheers James

@JamieB I am not sure that I would call that honey coloured but it could just be the photo. There are over a hundred honey coloured mushroooms and ID is difficult. I don't think those are the right shape but could be wrong. Are you having problems with trees or other shrubs in the garden.
Another one for @steephill if they are out there. Photo of stem and gills requIred for an ID
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
