Amazing to see James at about min 25 of episode one. He was working for Cairngorms Connect when I went up there last year. He led the rewilding study. Crazy that he and his wife sold their home and took their kids to travel through Europe's rewilding areas. I'd love to visit them too, esp the Carpathian projects.

I've often thought about selling my wife and kids and travelling the wild places of the world. :#
It will be interesting to see the viewing figures for this show. Autumnwatch once attracted about 4m viewers but with limited advertising it might take a while for this show to go viral. I like the less formal feel of it so far and the freedoms from the BBC shackles are very clear.

I like it more than Autumnwatch so far - better presenters, less giggling. You can feel Chris' glee at being able to talk politics and campaigning without restraint. Imagine the BBC viewers' outrage if he recommended "How to Blow Up a Pipeline" on Autumnwatch. It would break the internet.

The World's biggest organism is honey fungus.

Three times the size of london - all one single being - 9 km Sq. 7500 tonnes in weight. 8000 years old.

Last year I met Jack and Rua - deerstalkers in Abernethy - and they are doing amazing work brining back native tree life to the Highlands.

There seems to be good news on the bird flu front.

This is back on again in the new location tonight. It's had surprisingly few views though so I wonder if news isn't getting out about it?

Is it better to watch it 'live'? Is it interactive?
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus

It has a live chat with competitions but I don't think you miss much by watching it at a later date.
