Lady of Shalott

Hi all,
I have the above rose. It is about 5 years, flowers well. It is now quite straggly. How do I prune it? I can't see any videos online about pruning in the UK. When do I prune it? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Prune it whenever, and wherever you want, this rose is perfectly hardy and ignores the weather.  Use your secateurs or loppers for thicker branches.  There's no need to be fussy about where you prune either, just use your judgement and take off as much or as little as you want to shape.
Go over it again in March to tidy up if necessary.

I agree with Marlorena. In March try cutting above an outward facing bud.
