Snail set up home

I have a normal garden snail which has decided to, I am assuming, hibernate on the middle of my living room window. Never known this before should I relocate it? Or leave it alone? I’ve read they can hibernate for up to 3 years!

Inside- move it. Outside - leave it be.😊
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Chuck it back outside. This is the peak time of year for them to be out there breaking down the rotting plant material as it dies off for the winter. No time to be hibernating when they have work to do.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Gently remove it and put it on the lawn or wherever . It’s a snail . It won’t care .
  • We removed one today as we found it munching quite happily indoors on one of the orchid plants. How it got there no idea...so outdoors it went very quickly. Amazing how much it had taken off the outer layer of the leaves before we found it.
