Zebra Haworthia

I have a Zebra Dark green variety, placed near the window, facing West.  I also bought seeds. I love to plant a cute ones. My problem is when I was out for a business trip, it was overwatered (soggy) and Its dying. Can I still save it? Other question is, can It be grown from seeds?
I really don't have a Good backyard. But used my balcony as container Gardening place. No stopping from my passion.

You can grow from seed but most people don't bother as they're much easier to grow from pups. After a couple of years you're overrun with pups so they can be had for free if you know a grower.
As for the dying plant it's hard to say. Did you remove the wet soil and dry it out? Are there any pups that can be removed to be repotted? They don't grow from cuttings very well sadly.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • Thank you for the reply. I know its easier to grow from pups, however, I didn't have a nearby sources for pups and I have checked the price for grown one that is about $52.50 per 3 inches diameter pot. However the seeds are cheaper. Just that it didn't germinate. :D so I think  I lost a couple of $7.50 there. Anyhow, I tried my best to dry out soggy haworthia, however, it didn't survived in 4 hours. as if it faded like a dry jelly fish. So I will try again with the seeds.

I'm amazed by that. They're available at the cheapest supermarkets here very cheaply. I almost bought one last week for £4 just because I wanted the pot it was in but I'd just composted about 10 similar sized pups because I had no one to give them to. :#
