Thanks for posting that link @AnniD. The house looks delightful and the gardens have obviously been much better cared for than when we visited. Rather wish we'd gone back now! I also didn't know they were Grade 1 listed.

I have been keeping an eye on the website but I was starting to think it wouldn't reopen as nothing changed ... However it is opening on 1 February! With a caveat that it might be sold, of course. So I will plan to go, and stay nearby, at a suitable time 🙂

Again I went there a long time ago famed for it's hardy geraniums. The one thing I do remember is the huge Cornus Controversa.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
  • Hi, I just came across these messages and in case anyone is still interested, East Lambrook Manor Gardens has not been sold yet and is open Tuesday to Sunday all of February for the Festival of Snowdrops, and then open Tuesday to Saturday until October, or until it is sold, which may still be a while yet. If you are interested in snowdrops, it is already looking lovely, and there are many for sale. Next week the snowdrops will look even better but many of the varieties of snowdrop may have sold out. And there is a cafe serving refreshments and cakes :)

Yes I've been looking at photos of the snowdrops etc on Instagram 🙂. Not sure when I'll be able to go but sooner rather than later 🤞🏼
    Thanks @georginawerk1SxyNQga2 and @AnniD
