@amancalledgeorge you'll often find the 'ladies' gloves either have pretty patterns on them or are in pastel colours.  The 'mens' gloves are, well, more manly in grey or brown.

The gloves have just been delivered, and i'm very happy with the fit. I think my hands are medium to large, and they are close fitting. The black material is stretchy enough to fit most hands unless you have small hands.

I'm glad you like them :). Not promising for me though :(

II won't be ordering until (or rather, unless) they confirm that they'd be a good close fit on size 6.5 hands. Too many manufacturers, particularly of things like gloves and socks, claim that one size fits a wide range when in reality if they're big enough for the top end of the range to fit into them, they are huge on the bottom end.
    Sorry, rant over :)

@JennyJ, I bought a pair of the Goldleaf gauntlets specifically for rose pruning and they fit me well. I have the same size small hands like you. For everyday gardening I prefer the Showa range in their Small size, fits me like a glove. They also do very useful Thermal ones for winter.

Thanks @Lizzie27, that's good to know. Maybe I'll order some before pruning season kicks in.
I have had Showa gloves but they didn't last very long. I'm currently using a stash of cheap XS ones that I found in Boyes a couple of years ago which fit really well, but they're a thinner type for weeding etc, not thorn proof/heavy duty, don't last all that long either but I got about 8 pairs for something like £1.50 each.

@JennyJ, sounds like a bargain! I reckon my Showa gloves at about £7/£8 each last me about 6 months before the thumb or forefinger split but as they are such a good fit for me, I don't mind paying that.

Update: I got a reply from Goldleaf. They said the length of the middle fingers on the ladies gloves is 8 cm and they will give and stretch with wear up to 20%. The length of my middle fingers is about 6.5 cm, so it's a no for me.

@JennyJ, that's a shame. I've Just measured the length of my middle finger which turns out to be slightly longer than yours at 7cm - with a short fingernail!
