About Getting rid of Rats.

I first find a rats hole then find its better to wait till winter and use a hose to push down hole leave it on full for about an hour and cold water and cold weather will do the trick.

    Best to deal with rats as soon as they are evident - little point in letting them feed and breed throughout the year and then attempting to rid your garden of them in winter.

    Rats live in sewers where there's plenty of water. Rats can swim. It might make things uncomfortable for them for a bit, but it probably won't do anything except make them abandon that burrow / nest and create another elsewhere.

    What happens when it [water] comes out the other end of the hole....

    They don't just tunnel in, and come out the same way.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
