Lawn mower advice.

Hi all, hope you've all had a good summer. I need some advice regarding lawn mowers versus wet grass!! With our climate, I & probably we, can't always cut the grass through being very surface wet, no problem with ground drainage, just heavy dew. My mower, a 2 year old Mountfield NTL 434-R isn't keen when faced with this situation & the grass grows very quick & I need to keep on top of the job. So, help needed. Online I looked at an ATCO, great reviews & write up & er! pricey. Decided to check-out the nitty-gritty of it, only to find it was now discontinued, ouch!
Any help, as usual, is appreciated.
Cheers BJ.

It has been great all round and I can use the battery in my ego chain saw as well as other products if I had them. I had the hayter for 30 years and I was concerned I’d miss my stripes but this one does stripes as you mow and you can even add a roller if you feel it us necessary.
Sorry, but I never thought to cut at a high setting first, don't wish to sound ungrateful, but it's obvious that that is a normal course of action. My lawns are app 85sq mtrs. Were they postage stamp size, I'd use a pair of scissors.
I'll have to bite the bullet tomorrow & get SWMBO to do the job! Fat chance.
Anyone got a rather large sponge?
