Tiny round balls

i no I’m not being rude.  I just have no idea what these green round balls are.  I squashed one and it was full of milky green liquid.  Any takers! 🤗

    Slow release fertiliser
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • I think so too.  They come in many different colours.  Where did you actually find them ?

I was transplanting my heuchera marmalade and they were in there.  Fellow gardeners on this forum are great there’s always help at hand.  Cheers! 😉
  • Just a thought but if you have your Heuchera in pots, they are more susceptible to Vine weevil grubs - little white things with a brown head which burrow into the plant roots.
A good layer of sharp grit often helps as the adult weevils find it more difficult to deposit their eggs.  Those planted directly into the ground don't seem to be as susceptible.
