Something curious for you all.

Everyone's age today is weirdly related to 2023. This applies to the whole of the world. Today is a very special day and only happens once every 1000 years.
Your age in this year + your year of birth, for every person = 2023!
It is so strange that even experts (alledgedly) cannot explain it. Check it out and see if it is 2023. It has been waiting for a thousand years!
Example: I am 28 years old and I was born in 1995. 28 +1995 = 2023
Very interesting - please try it.
(Not me in this example of course! I am 27! )

Am I missing something? Doesn’t your year of birth + your age always add up to the current year?

D’oh! Sorry for being so slow on the uptake.

  • My age + my birth date always adds up to the current year - 2023 is no exception and I imagine 2024 will prove to be the same.
Think you may need to let us into the secret  ;)

If your birthday is later in the year than the day you do this 'sum' on it will not work. Example: I was born in December 1995 therefore I am still only 27. 1995 + 27 = 2022.
    Therefore a year out.

  • 2023 = the sum of the digits multiplied by the square of the sum of the squares of the digits. (7 x 17 x 17)
