Clematis flowering now

I planted this clematis 3-4 years ago. It get some sun but most of the time it is in shade under the tree. It got flower just now and also  got 2-3 buds. It is unusual to get flower this late in season? I lost the label so don't know the variety or much about it.

    I have 2 clematis with flowers now, Etoile Violette and Kermesina. They are both Group 3.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    I have three group threes in flower now. Oct flowering is quite normal for them

    @Busy-Lizzie, @Fire.  Thank you. One flower is still there and waiting another 3 buds to open.
