Yet another semi-dried tomato question. Sorry.

The level of oil has sunk in the jars. I suppose the tomatoes have soaked it up.  Should I open the jar and add some more oil or leave them alone? Will they still be safe to eat if the oil sinks some more. They're just barely at the surface now.

    Top them up.  The oil is a seal.  Bonne soirée!

    @tui34. The hardest but most useful  thing about learning a new skill is knowing  how to solve problems and even more important what matters and what doesn't.
