Found a rare book owned by horticulturalist Sir Ronald Hatton
Hi all,
Interesting charity shop find, a copy of Thomas Hitt's Treatise of Fruit Trees, II edition, 1776. The provenance I believe includes the well-known Pomologist and Horticulturalist Sir Ronald Hatton (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Hatton)!
Closer look for anyone interested

Good Luck I do hope you get a good response.
I recently loaned my copy of Beverley Nichols's book, Down the Garden Path, to my daughter which she is enjoying, as a budding gardener. I went online to find a copy of Down the Garden Path to give to "the other mother-in-law" for Christmas, my son-in-law's mother, and came across a copy of Down the Kitchen Sink. I had never heard of it and will be interested to see if it was written in the same vein.
I am looking forward to an enjoyable light-hearted read.
The Thomas Hitt book is probably worth upwards of £200. If it were not for the water staining it could be substantially more.
