I am building a shade hose like the one they have at Bourton house. Can anyone tell me what they have planted in there shade house so I have some idea what I want to put in mine.

Did you want to emulate theirs specifically or just some ideas?
I had a quick look to see if there is a plant list or a plan /layout online but if there is, it is not immediately obvious.

Looking at a photo or two there are various Ferns which you could choose to your own taste.
They have Athyrium nipponicum  pictum , which is one of the pretty "Japanese painted ferns" . Could not say which in particular.
Also what looks like the variegated Convallaria.
I do not think it is variegated Disporum, although there is one as well as plainer green leaved..
But you could also have that it comes in a couple of flavours.

A favourite of mine is Uvularia grandiflorum.
Also Trilliums. But they take time and care to clump up well, Or expensive to buy in a large amount.
So perhaps worth giving them the extra care, like your shade house.

A witty Trillium expert ( so sorry I can't  remember who it was! to give credit to). Gives the answer to the question.
Q: When is the best time to plant Trilliums?
Answer is About Twenty years ago......

Jeffersonia is lovely and delicate and can end up getting lost in a garden so nice for a spot in a "gathered together" area.
Anemomella another treasure I lost in our garden for getting the poor things were out there.
    Sanguinaria.

Cyclamen as already mentioned by AnniD.
You can grow hederifolium, and coum are lovely . So you have spring and now/autumn covered. But hederifolium can get a bit thuggish in a good spot.
But try C. purpurascens for summer and scent.

You could try emailing Bourton house and see if they  will share their planting scheme or list with you. :)

I don't have a list of plants but I do have a photo, taken 3rd August, if that's any help.

Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
