Can anyone help with Identifying this pupae please? UK house plant.

    No idea,  but just leave it where it is, as that’s where it wants to be,  maybe you’ll catch it emerging in the Spring.  
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    They seem to be damaging the plants. Leaving black gunk under them. Plus thats a chilli, im going to eat it so im not leaving it where it is.
