Cherry bush (porthos)
Hello Everyone,
I have just purchased this Cherry Bush and unpacked it, I knew there may be a little recovery needed after the way it may have been stored and transported but a little worried about the green mould up the main stem and on some of the branches. Is this normal and will recover or is there anything I can do to help?
I'm also wondering when would be the best time to repot it? do I wait until spring or should I go a ahead with larger pot and new soil and feed now?
Would be grateful for any advice
(apologies for the pictures being the wrong way around! they are saved on my computer the correct way!)

Zooming in, It's not moss but the bark is lifting due to some disease.
It maybe a type of canker that it has and certainly shouldn't have been sold in that condition.
If it were me I'd want my money back.
BTW - it's a very annoying 'feature' of this site that it rotates photos and nothing to do with you.

It would be a shame to give up on this one though so would like to know if there is anything I can do
It looks like either a bacterial or fungal problem.
Maybe another member will chip in and be able to identify the problem.
