Looks like jasminium beesianum. The bane of my gardening life! Nips over the fence from next door to strangle my roses.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • It looks a lot like Jasminum beesianum (red jasmine), which blooms in full sun & partial shade. What kind of light is your plant getting? If it's in full shade, maybe that's why it doesn't bloom. Just a wild guess. https://www.gardenersworld.com/plants/jasminum-beesianum/

Western Oregon, USA. Our climate is a lot like Northern England, but with dry, hot summers.

I agree, Jasminum beesianum. The flowers are very small, and the wretched thing spreads all over, rooting wherever a stem touches the ground. Not worth the space it takes up if left to its own devices, so I keep hoiking it out when I see it reappearing.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Even if it's flowered, hoik it out and stamp on it😡
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  •  Brilliant , you all agree thanks very much :)
  • We live in a narrow river valley on Exmoor it gets a decent amount of sun.
  • Oh that sounds like bliss … I love riding on Exmoor. Probably too old to do it now, but happy memories. 😊

  • How do you deal with hoiking out the roots, just keep digging or herbicides? Thanks

There are some replies here to that question

It's dreadful stuff for rooting where it touches. A lot depends on how easy you find it digging the ground over, personally l'd be inclined to go for a weedkiller,  see @Dovefromabove 's reply on the thread above  :)
