Looking to buy seeds from uk

Hello,

I am a french gardener and I recently wanted to buy some crimson crush tomato seeds, which apparently are really resistant to blight. The problem is thoses seeds arent available in my country (France). So I was thiking if anyone would want to buy those seeds and send them to me after I pay them ?

As far as I know, sending any plant material including seeds to the EU from the UK isn't allowed without the proper paperwork, so I don't think you'll find anyone prepared to do it. You might have more luck with sellers in EU countries who aren't subject to the same restrictions and can send stuff within the EU.
Edit: Google found a seller on amazon.de (Germany?) - you could maybe try them? https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Crimson-Crush-Tomato-Resistant-Portion/dp/B07792PVFQ
Edit again - I checked one of my favourite seed suppliers, Simply Seed. Their website says they've stopped sending stuff outside the UK because of the large numbers of packages getting "lost in transit", particularly to France, not because they haven't got the paperwork in place. That makes me think that even with the proper documentation, maybe there's a problem with customs.

@yvonnick.beaudouin59148 You can't import seeds or plants from UK to Europe or vice versa without a plant health certificate which is a laborious and expensive adnistrative process.  At the time we realised this would be a consequence of Brexit we had this thread going

Lots of nurseries and seed suppliers in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany - if you care to read through it.

  • Hello !
Sorry all for the late answer, was quite busy. So yes, I wasn't sure it was illegal to import seeds from uk, now I'm sure :#
Anyway the sites that sell them in france seems quite suspicious, I will pick the mfrom germany so no problem.

Thank you all for the answers.

I was wondering why you think the French sites seem suspicious @yvonnick.beaudouin59148?
