Stuck terracotta pots

I've just found one of my small terracotta pots (different shapes) have got stuck inside a larger one.  Is there a simple way to separate them please?

    You could try putting the large one in warm water and put something cold in the small one.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    some washing up liquid to act s a lubricant might help

    Have you tried turning it all upside down on lawn/soft ground, then poke a stick through the holes working it around the base of the inner pot, a good prod in several places may dislodge them.
