I haven't used them, but they seem expensive for something that could be homemade using pallets.

    I agree @Busy-Lizzie -hideously expensive!
I've bought timber bins in the past, but they were too lightweight. Cheap though. You learn from those mistakes. Easy to make from decent fencing timber and a few fence stobs, for very little outlay.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Yes - I have a row of 3 of them.
    I bought 2 in 2017 and added a 3rd in 2018.
    They produce excellent compost.
I was surprised how easily the slats can be removed even when it's wet. So they don't seem to swell.

2 of them collapsed a year ago and I recently bought replacement slats and joining posts that cost £140 - rats had chewed through the back of them and some of the slats at the back and posts at the back were rotting.
I've completed the restoration of 2 of them. I'll get round to the 3rd this week.
There are 2 scaffold boards at the base - just because I had nowhere else to store them.

I stood the posts on bricks. Then I dug down about 1ft to give more capacity.

    Shredded prunings from last week

Just over 1m3 black gold ready to go!

So not much good then Pete,  treated wood lasting 4 years!

I think the rats caused most of the damage.
There was only a little rot on one of the posts at the front and a couple of slats.
All the damage was done at the back.
My neighbour has 2 fat-ball bird feeders and a bird table directly behind the bins. So the rats dine there and sleep in my bins!

Perhaps you could feed the rats something else👺
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Yes - rat poison!
But there's no point. There are at least 15 bird feeders next door and have been for decades.
The bins lasted 6 years before needing attention, which isn't too bad in my opinion.
I get about 1cu m a year from them and they're easy to use.

Looking into getting a new bin myself, another comoany that caught my eye was gardeningworks.co.uk. You might like to compare the two. Despite almost identical names I think they're separate companies

Thanks yes was considering them too, and Agamemnon the other one on my shortlist. Couldn't mind any info on others who had bought the GardenWorksDirect one though, but they are quite a bit cheaper than the other two.
