Mushroom Identification

Hi.
Does anyone know what type of mushroom this may be?
Looked online but tbh many look similar so having a hard time.

  • @ Mushroom ID is complex however there are Forum members who are Knowledgable.
    There are knowledeable gardeners on here lets hope thet see your post. I would class all of them as inedible unless you have an expert forager witj you.

  • To be honest even if someone said they were edible I probably would not.
    I am more concerned that if they are not, I probably need to be more proactive in removing them, I have very young children that love danger.

    Just remove them - better safe than sorry

    Often to give a correct ID, a pic of the underside is usually needed too

  • @anthony.haley06996 I did pick up that there was a very valid reason for asking. I wasn't sure if it was just to get an ID. I think you need to do as you say too.

    Maybe when your children get older with guidence they may find fungi a fascinating subject. I recall an O level project that I did making beautiful patterns from the spores.
