Moving an apple tree

Help! I think i have possibly over planted in this area, there are 2 apple trees, both of which haven't had fruit this year, can I move one, and if so when is the best time to do it?

Also what is that purple flower tree?.it grows like a weed, am I harming it but constantly cutting it back? ( it outgrow its pot )

Thanks in advance ☺️

I would use those walls/fence for espalier apples.  Depends on how long the apple trees have been there. It may be easier to start again.
Can you do a close up photo of the blue flowered thing, I just get a blur if I enlarge this one.
  • Thank you both for your comments, I don't think they are small patio apple trees,  but I do plan to put the 'espalier' tree up against a wall around the side of the house ( I think that was my mistake not realising that's Shere it would be better placed ) I only planted them last summer so 🤞it will work. I'll upload a closer picture if the purple plant

It might be a type of solanum ?

It all depends on the rootstock of the apple trees. There are trees sold as “patio trees” that stay very small (or so I’ve heard). So if you have those you might be OK.

If you do want to dig them up, the best time to do it is when they are dormant, during a frost free spell in winter.

No idea what the purple plant is. One of the nightshades maybe?

Hi, I've just downloaded an app, and it's a potato Bush, otherwise known as a Paraguay nightshade so thank you 😊
