Tree Identification

Anyone know what these trees are? I am in Wisconsin in the US, and these trees were here before I moved in. The neighbors said that they aren't native to our state, but aren't sure where they are from or what they are called. They are close to a Catalpa, but they do not flower and don't have pods, and the leaves are more rigid not smooth.

    They kind of look like beech trees, but they've obviously been pruned and shaped.  I don't know if this link will help, since they're not native trees, but you never know.

    Sorry pics not clear enough.
    Pic 1. doesn't look like Beech to me.
    Appears to be a weeping/pendulous tree
    Cannot work out how many trees you are asking about.
    I am confused which trunk go with which leaves.

    Would really help to post one tree at a time ...showing whole tree/ clear pics of the leaves/any seed pods/berries/flowers. Are leaves opposite or alternate?

    Suggest that you start a new thread for each one.
    Otherwise it gets very messy.

    The first one looks like a lime (Tilia), the second a hornbeam.  (I'm going from the leaves) Both are used for pleaching into odd shapes or allees.  Try looking those up and see if it matches what you have.
