Hoggin/Self Binding Gravel

Does anyone have any experience in removing moss and algae from areas of hoggin. With the wet weather, it's looking more and more like just moss

I would imagine that either Patio Magic or Wet and Forget would clean it up.
I use it on areas that have paviors and find it works well.
It takes a few weeks to see the effect as it works slowly but on my north-facing drive (granite paviours that get algae etc) and another paved area where my greenhouse is it works a treat.
It would need to be used quite soon as it wont work when it starts to get cold.
I buy whichever of the 2 products I mentioned is the cheapest - they seem to be almost identical.

My hoggin is covered by a thin layer of south coast flinty 1/2 inch sea shingle.  Say, 2 layers deep.  I find a quick hoeing in dry weather keeps the moss at bay.
location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.

Thanks, I'll give that a go. We are NE facing so with the wet weather and lack of sun in some areas, it's just not dried out this year

I done my paved drive a few weeks ago and it's come up really well now - all the green stuff has gone and the paviours look as though they've had a good scrubbing.
I'm going over it today with Weedol Pathclear to kill off weeds and grasses that have germinated recently between them.
So hopefully it'll be all good in a few weeks.
