Adjusting height on hand push mower

You’re not going to believe this but I have had my little push lawnmower for the past thirty years and I still don’t know which is the high/low setting. I have added a photo of a similar model.  Can someone please advise me!

    The bottom is the lowest setting and the top is the highest. It changes the angle of the roller and this lifts the blades.
