lacecap Hydrangea not flowering?

I cut my Lacecap hydrangea right back in 2021 and all of the stems without really knowing what I was doing.I didn't expect it to flower while it grew back in 2022 but  this year it's fully grown but only has a few flowers and they don'y look to impressive. Can anyone tell me if this plant will ever fully flower or have I damaged it too badly with that very hard pruning

The plant will be fine - you'll not do any harm however brutally you prune it.
Sometimes the buds can get nipped by frost which is why it's best to leave the dead flowerheads on the plant over winter to give them some protection.
The other possibility is that it was pruned a bit too late (assuming you did prune it) and you pruned off this year's flower buds.

Also it's only been in the ground only 2yrs, so it'll be building a strong root system before concentrating on flowers.
