Stolen pony - please keep eyes open for Maisey

A friend of a friend has sent this …

STOLEN PONY
PLEASE …. share this post to reach as wide an audience as possible (even if you are not horsey people). This tiny, very distinctive pony was stolen on Wednesday from a friend in Castle Combe, near Chippenham, Wilts. She was bundled into a van or trailer and has not been seen since. She also has laminitis which means that, after all this rain, there will be a rush of new, green grass. Small ponies like Maisey then gorge themselves on this lush grass which leads to a hugely painful pressure in her hooves. The sort of people who have this pony are unlikely to recognise or care about this and ignore her discomfort.

Please help - having a much loved pet stolen is a hideous thing.

Any potential leads or sightings matter 🙏🤞 #helpfindmaisey

How awful. Hope there will be a successful outcome.
  • Very horsey area here but I know most of them and their owners.
l'll keep an eye out anyway as Castle Conbe isn't a millipn miles  away.  Fingers crossed that Maisie will be found soon  :)
  • @pansyface Yes there is, but as with dogs and cats it relies on someone reading the chip. Sadly it doesn't stop theft, it just reunited owners with animals if the chips are scanned.
