Dwarf conifer recommendations

Hi there. I wondered if anyone has any suggestions for a low growing/dwarf conifer with orange leaves? There are some lovely Thuja varieties around, but all the ones I've found are a bit too big.

Thanks in advance!

I recommend Thuja 'Golden Tuffet'.. a most beautiful low growing, mound forming conifer, wider than tall.  I've grown it in previous gardens, very suitable for full sun and dryish conditions too.

Is thuja Rheingold too big ?

If that's the case what sort of height are you thinking of ?
  • These look great, thank you. It's for near the front of a border so ideal height would be no more than 50cm, but I don't mind pruning it every now and then.
  • @dan.coupar There is such a thing as a dwarf conifer they will all continue to grow.
    Something to consider.

Some can remain small for a very long time. I have had a Pinus mugo for 15 years, still only 3 foot tall.
How can you lie there and think of England
