    I agree, @Plantminded !  Sometimes the seeds are prettier or more interesting than the flowers.

    You're a little ahead of me with your miscanthus - mine is just beginning to form seed heads.  I love the way they catch the light.

    Yes, Miscanthus become a vital part of the winter garden, magnets for any sun!

    I picked up some acer seeds from some of the NT gardens we visited in Sussex, but haven't got round to planting them yet. Something I really must do!!

    Is the one in your picture, from your garden? Lovely photo.

    Thank you @rowlandscastle444, yes, it’s in my garden, the leaves are just showing autumn colour, then there’ll be some clearing up to do!
