Good point about the soil. We have a small garden though, so maybe we will have to dig deep and replace the subsoil with the topsoil.

I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

yes I do. It can be confusing trying to work it out yourself from books, especially when you don’t know what you’re dealing with in the first place. 😂
