    Looks like ground elder to me. It can be very rampant.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • Doesn’t look quite right for ground elder too me .., the leaves in the photo are more toothed than I remember it.  
    Are the leaves a bit leathery in texture?  There’s a look of hellebore about them to me 🤔

  • Hmm! I agree not ground elder as too toothed. They do have a look of the hellebore about them. They are not in my garden but I will ask my friend for another couple of shots and indeed if she knows if she has any hellebores- she moved house last November and the garden wasn’t her first priority…

    That's great. Hellebores are a great addition rather than a nuisance!
    We don't really have ground elder around here, so it was a bit of a guess for me. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
