Trailing begonia cuttings

Hello it's late in the season and my hanging basket of trailing begonias was stolen leaving behind broken off bits which I put in water vase as a shame to waste them. 2 of these have sprouted roots on larger cutting sized. Do I plant these up will they grow corms this year? What about when the weather gets colder do I bring them inside on the window sil? Or is it just too late in the season? Many thanks.

Impossible to say. A lot of Begonias are not tuber forming and simply form fibrous roots.

Even if they're a tuberous type, there might not be time to grow very big before winter. Worth trying to keep them going on a bright windowsill, I think.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
