grape vine leaf

I inherited an established black grapevine all was well until this year and all that rain! I had a monster crop this year but I don't think they will ripen, The leaves are starting to turn a very colourful red/brown. I've started to prune out half the crop, including the brown leaves.
I need help please!

I don’t understand the problem … one of the glories of a grapevine is it’s marvellous autumn colour …

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Depends where you are and what your climate is like and what you mean by a "monster crop".  You can always limit the number of fruit on each bunch if you don't think the vine can cope but probably a bit late for that now.
If the leaves are simply turning colour, the vine has decided it's time to prepare for the coming Autumn/Winter as suggested above  :)
