Identify these droppings?

Hi guys

Does anyone know what these droppings are in my garden? Hoping it’s not a rat but after a quick Google search I can’t figure it out.

any experts that could help identify the droppings would be a great help!

Hedgehog. We have seen two hedgehogs who seem to be living in our garden. We've made a food shelter for them and every night they demolish the hedgehog food we've left out for them. One of them often stays in the shelter and sleeps in the empty food dish during the day. Our garden has lots of little 'gifts' left by the hedgehogs overnight. We just have a clear up and leave them to get on with their lives in our garden. We feel privileged to have them.

I think our hedgehog has died sadly, there was one hit by a car not far from us.

It is so, so sad to see them like that. I agree with the others, I do believe that is hedgehog poo, sometimes they leave an extraordinary amount!
