Tree suckers (plum?)
Hello,
Last year in the front of the house a bunch of tall woody plants appeared which I thought would be best left alone. Especially as they looked like Cherry trees and I thought it would be nice to have one.. (now I realise it's a bad idea as they are less than 1 metre from the house! Anyway..)
Plantnet says these are plum, so suckers of some sort. But there is not really any cherry/plum tree around. Only an apple tree in the neighbours garden that has been hard pruned last year, and a small young plum tree at the back of my garden (40 metres away so unlikely to reach this long).
New leaves are curled. One of the suckers was easily pulled, the rest seem more resistant but I haven't tried hard.
Where could these come from?
Should I remove them all? If they were appearing in a better location, should I still remove them? I ask because every other thread mentioned removing them but if they are nice trees..

Whatever it is I would get rid of them … dig them out properly … unknown ‘tall woody plants’ really aren’t what you need less than 1 metre from your house.
