When will my spuds be ready?

Planted these in early July and the packet (I no longer have it) said ready in December.
They have a couple of flowers on them now does this indicate they are nearly ready?
I can't remember what type they were.

New potatoes planted in March/April are often ready when the flowers appear but I don't think yours are ready yet. New potatoes take roughly 3 months, but older potatoes can take 4 - 5 months. It's a shame you don't know the variety.

  • Wife seems to think they were Maris Piper. They weren't very big.
