Muscari are always leafing up in early autumn here ... and with an early autumn like this its probably even earlier ... we don't have any so I can't check. I'm sure they'll be fine ... growth will slow to a halt when the temperatures drop and start again when they pick up.

My muscari has been producing leaves for a few weeks now. Not sure about the iris - but I wouldn't worry about them. Your thread title made me smile, @Copperdog - I guess spellcheck thought it knew better than you did. Drives me nuts when it happens to me!
