Is this a tomato disease?

    I'm now pretty sure it's not sun damage  these were  not exposed  to strong sun . I've peeled back the skin.

    Oh yes!
    My raspberries have hundreds of them, but never seen one on or near my tomatoes.
    Even those I planted outdoors right next to my raspberry patch.

    These are the ones I have - Dock Bugs - one of the many varieties of stink bugs

    😒 Thanks @Pete.8. The tree rats had all my raspberries so that would account for the change in diet

    That I would not eat, and yes it does look more like the damage shield bugs make. This was abroad, but there were 100s if not 1000s and they loved toms (perhaps they prefer raspberry). They were common bugs, mostly green once adult, like this:-

    This is the eggs to look for in spring, and the young if you miss the eggs (totally different colour).
