How to prune this Dracaena?

Hi. I don't know exactly what type of Dracaena this is but it has become very leggy whilst remaining very thin at the bottom. How do I prune it? Thanks

I have a similar indoor plant. It has been knocked, broken, frozen and I just lop off the bad bits. It keeps on coming!!
