Name this weed!

Any ideas?  It seeds itself freely, likes some sun, gets to about 6" tall, and is deciduous.  It never chooses a raised bed or a shady spot.

Some sort of spurge? Think this might have been my first question on the forum a while back.

My second qu! :)   It does look a bit spurge like, as you say, and it gives off a white sap if you break a stem.  It likes to grow in gravel more than open soil.  I've not been able to find it on any weed id site though.

Just looked through my posts, petty spurge is more accurate.

Ah ha!  That's it!  Euphobia Peplus, apparently.  Just found an exact picture match by searching petty spurge.  Many thanks, TenN.

Easy to pull out. Not a problem😊
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Indeed!  I rather like it as a plant.   B)

This stuff seems to be all over my garden this year... in all the beds and all in the gravel of the drive too. Yes, easy to pull up, but there's just so much of it!

It was all over my garden when I moved here 10 years ago, borders and paving!  It’s easy to pull out which is what I did but there’s still the odd one popping up where I don’t want it.  I’d try to remove any approaching flowering and seeding as soon as you can.
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

There's some along a fence by my parking area, which is no bother and actually softens the area a lot.  The stuff popping up in the gravel at the back I try to keep on top of, just so it doesn't take over really.
