Miniature Apple Tree

Hello, I have a miniature Apple tree which harvests Elster and James Grieve.  We have had a least 2 dozen fruits this year, but many have been wind falls so I picked the rest.  How do I ripen these and for how long.  Thanks in advance.

    If Apples are ready the pips have turned brown and the fruit parts easily from the tree by lifting it gently.  Pears will continue to ripen after picking, but apples don't.  You could cut them up and freeze them and use them for pies and crumbles.
