Weird French beans

  • I've just looked up parthenocarpy.  As you surmised @floralies, I am confused  - did not understsnd a word of it!
  • I'd not worry too much @Collareddove - as usual, war garden is just confusing the issue and trying to reinforce his oft mentioned mantra that people in the UK have absolutely no knowledge or experience - we are apparently as thick as the proverbial  ;)
  • Reverting to my post about weird beans;  as I now have quite a lot of these mis-shapes, would they be ok to use as seed for next year or should I save some of the properly formed ones for seed? Obviously I shall leave them on the plant until fully dried/desiccated.

    I would only use properly formed beans for seed
    Yorkshire, ex Italy and North East coast. Growing too old for it!
