Time to chill out
A very short video shot today in our local Glen in NE Scotland, we needed a break and thought I'd share it, there is a bit of natures sound track on the film.

Nice video
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I did it at this sort of time of year - the best parts were the red squirrel on the way back to the car, and the feast of brambles in the hedging just before I got to the car itself
I probably did a short walk description for the camera thread on the forum. I can have a look if you want, and give you a link, but you can get plenty of info on walkhighlands.

I found a couple of pix from my walk there - it isn't terribly exciting as hill walks go, but if you're looking for something not too far away, and not too taxing, after you recover, it certainly fits the bill. There's an access track for most of it.
The cairn is big, but I liked the hole in it!
On a half decent day, it's not a serious outing in any way, and the views are pleasant enough.
I can't remember how long it took, but probably in the 4 hour-ish sort of mark. One of those days when I'm longer in the car than on the hill

After a night in the pub, we headed for the summit at closing time, armed with a couple of bottles of whisky. One of the party was too drunk/tired to make the summit, so slept in the heather just after the last cottage. Another crashed out half way up. As the sun came up, the stragglers made the summit. A few hippy/druid type folk that arrived just before sunrise, seemed quite surprised to find a group of drunk hillwalkers already in residence.
it's also impressive when looking down from above.
A nice straightforward walk
Hope you're better soon @tigerburnie and can get out.
