New colocasia losing leaves

Hello, I just bought this colocasia pharaoh's mask about 1 week ago and since then it has already lost 2 leaves. They were the oldest leaves. When I got it it was about 80% dry so I watered it right then. I watered it again 2 days ago because it was around 70% dry. The plant is on my balcony where it receives a lot of light, it's next to a humidifier and it's also warm in there (27-30⁰C).
Now, these 2 photos I added are leaves that are still on the plant but they are dtarting to look pretty rough as well. Is there anything I can do? Right now it has 3 leaves and 1 on the way. The 2 in the photo, 1 that has grown since I got it and the one on the way started growing in my home.

I think the pot is too small.
They need a rich compost and to be kept moist. I give mine regular seaweed feed.

  • I wouldn't say that the pot is too small, from what I know they like to be a bit root bound. And i checked the root, they have some room to grow in there. I also gave it fertilizer. I put liquid ferts in the water I use for my plants.

If it were mine, I would give it a bigger pot. I have several and they are all in much larger pots.

  • its a sign of overwatering. that plant and its other varieties need only partly moist soil. if its roots were sagged to water for a longer period, that's the yellowish on the leaf appears. I would suggest you put it out on a direct sunlight first, then if the top part of its soil is dusty, then you put it back in. you only spray it with mist. Good Luck. :)
I really don't have a Good backyard. But used my balcony as container Gardening place. No stopping from my passion.
