Why is this not Growing?

My three Agapanthus do not seem to be growing. This is all I have to show since planting May/June?

    How big were they when you planted them? If each one was just a single root they'll take a while to build up to flowering size. I left one of mine to go to seed about three or four years ago and some of the seedlings have just started flowering this year.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

    If you want your agapanthus in flower, buy in flower.  Too late for this year ... and maybe next.

    Mine look like yours, but they did start the season frosted.
     location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.

    Thank you. Yes they were single Roots I planted. Guess I need to be patient!
