Houseplant succulent pups — what to do

I cut off the top of this succulent, which was growing quite tall, and it’s now rooted and doing well (plant on the right side of photo).

Now pups are growing out of the stem? leaves? of the bottom half of the plant. I can’t see any roots as yet — hope someone can advise if I should try to separate them now, or what to do next.

I have a friend who is mad about succulent and cacti.
She says to gently brake the young from the mother plant. Then they need to harden off, which means not planting them or watering for a few days. She tends to stand them on the surface of vermiculite , then either into gritty compost or just touching the surface of water until roots appear. Hope this helps 🙂

Thank you @purplerallim and thanks so much to your friend too 😊

I’ll try to be gentle breaking them off… I do have vermiculite so will do just that!

Just an update on this — the transplanted pups are doing well. Thanks so much again to you and your friend @purplerallim for the advice!

I have a plant similar to that,  you just can’t help but save every one it throws at you.  There comes a time when you just don’t want anymore.  I’ve posted them off to people,  wonder if they’re in the same dilemma now.😀
