I love sinuous. No straight lines in my garden if I  can avoid  them. Can you get a sinuous  washing line?
I did have a winding  path in my imagination.  Grass sounds good. It's  unlikely  to get boggy. The grass patch is  so narrow,  I'm  nearly there  anyway .
Worse comes to worse, I could always get back here and ask how to grow grass on baked clay.

I have to say how pleased I was to see your title, @B3, bored with your grass! I have got so used to reading how people are bored ‘of’ things, and it really annoys me!

@B3  I am so glad you said "bored with" and not "bored of" as I hear so much these days!!

@ergates @tui34. It super peeves me super too super.
Bought a variegated euphorbia yesterday. Couldn't remember what was recommended on this thread so I bought the one that had the most white on the leaves. The label said glaucous. I like glaucous - especially Rosa glauca. Anyway,I digress. It also said the flowers were white. And that it likes well drained soil. Well it'll get that in superabundance.

Exactly, you can nibble away at the lawn gradually rather than deal with it all in one go.

If I keep on the way I've been going, it'll soon be narrower than the lawn mower.
