What's eating my plants?!

Hi all, I've landscaped my garden over the last couple years and have now planted various shrubs, annuals, vegetables. Unfortunately somethings finding my plants tasty! Any idea what is chomping on my lupins (and other plants) and what I can do to solve it?!

Most likely slugs and snails. They like lupins - along with a lot of other plants. You may not see them in the day but you may if you go out after dark with a torch. You can use slug pellets if you aren't anti them, not if you have hedgehogs though. They are many different ways of dealing with them like dropping them into a bucket of water, sinking a cup of beer into the ground for them to fall into. They like beer. I'm sure other people will come up with other solutions.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Snails love lupins. Not had any luck planting them in the ground so put them in pots out of harms way but they still find them. Slugs are also a problem. Good luck.
