Courgettes

Quite a few of my yellow courgettes have darkened areas at end. What’s going wrong? I water & feed them regularly

Mine do that too. I think it's quite common, especially with the first produced ones. Maybe they haven't been fertilised.

Weather.... Lack of heat and pollination. I'm hoping recent weather might result in a bit more fruit before the end of the season.
Yorkshire, ex Italy and North East coast. Growing too old for it!
  • They've been somewhat slow to to get going this year but agree with the above - lack of pollination the most likely cause.  It may be that you have to intervene and give them a "helping hand" if things don't improve in your area.
